How to Monitor Your Tire's Pressure

At Caspian Auto Motors, we want you to know that your tires play a pivotal role in getting you to your destination and back home again safely. To keep your tires in good condition, it is important that they are properly inflated. A light will likely go off on your dashboard if the tire pressure is too low.

Your owners manual will likely indicate how much air pressure your tire can safely handle. Generally speaking, you want to inflate a tire to about 33 PSI. It is likely that the tire will lose or gain pressure if it sits in the garage too long or if it is exposed to rapid changes in temperature.

For example, if the weather gets cold quickly overnight, a tire could lose up to 10 PSI. However, it will likely regain some or all of that air pressure after you drive it again.
